
Electronic giant Sony has launched a new range of Bravia LCD TVs in India, endowed with powerful technologies and superior outlooks. Out of the 14 new models launched in S, V, W and Z series, Sony Bravia ZX1 is the world’s slimmest LCD TV measuring only 9.9mm. With a weight of only 15 kg, ZX1 comes with a full HD display resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels.
The new LCD TV from Sony includes other features like Live Colour Creation, 24p Cinema, Xross media bar and Bravia Theatre Sync. The small yet powerful TV offers outstanding audio enhancement features like digital amplifier, S-Force Surround, voice zoom, dolby digital plus, etc.
The new Sony’s Bravia Z4500 LCD TV comes with world’s first image processing technology called Motionflow 200Hz. The inclusion of the new technology in Z4500 will help the users to get crispier video quality. The new series of Sony Bravia LCD TVs were launched by Sarah Jane Dias, Miss India World 2007 in presence of Masaru Tamagawa, managing director of Sony India. Speaking on the occasion, Tamagawa stated that the new LCD products will deliver unprecedented level of realism and stunning clarity.
Sony India has also decided to phase out the cathode ray tube (CRT) televisions. Commenting on that, Tamagawa said that the company wants to focus on LCD TVs hence, it will completely exit the CRT segment.
According to the report Sony has allocated nearly Rs. 60 crore for promotional activities as it aims to lead the LCD market in India.
